Boca a Boca takes us from our current Co-Vid pandemic-filled existence into a completely separate one where a deadly virus is transmitted through lip-locking. The first episode is a healthy mix of salacious, mysterious and slow-burn.

Us – Showmax

This is Jordan Peele’s sophomore hit-horror is now available on Showmax for your viewing pleasure. The 2019 film was both a critical and commercial success that saw Oscar-Winning Lupita Nyon’go being one of the biggest award-nominees and winners this past award-season for her stirring role in this film.

Fatal Affair – Netflix

Veteran actors Nia Long and Omar Epps go head-to-head in this brand new Netflix Original. Fatal Affair finds Long as a prominent lawyer in a stable yet stale 20-year marriage, however things take a turn for the interesting when she reconnects with an old-college friend, Epps.

Local Films this Sunday

For those interested in watching and consuming local films on television, this Sunday 19th July brings you three South African films to choose from 1) Mrs. Right Guy, 2) For Love and Broken Bones and Moeder en Bloed.

Mrs Right Guy (2016) – Mzansi Magic at 20h00

Dineo Moeketsi, Lehasa Moloi and Thapelo Mokeona star in this hit romance-drama that raked in over R7 million within it’s local box-office run.

Moeder en Bloed – E Extra at 19h00

Inspired by true events. Moeder-en-Bloed is a period-piece that takes place during the Anglo Boer War. Prisoners of war take a stand against their captors at the notorious St. Helena concentration camp.
